We Give Back
Since our very first season, giving back has been part of how Tea operates—not a campaign, not an add-on. Ten percent of our profits, every year, go to organizations working to make the world better for kids. Locally and globally, in the communities that inspire our collections and the neighborhoods right in our backyard.

of community partnerships
In 2003, we began partnering with Global Fund for Children. GFC finds grassroots organizations already doing the work inside communities—and gives them the resources to do more. Every season, GFC helps us identify a local organization tied to the community that inspired our collection, so the places we’re inspired by also benefit from what we make.
We Go There. We Learn. We Give Back.
How We Give Back Globally
Here are some of the communities and organizations we've had the privilege of supporting.
Elimu Girls
We traveled to Malindi, taught block printing, and commissioned Elimu Girls alumni to handcraft our Pendo dolls.
Pazear Association & Cores do Amanhã
We matched donations to two organizations empowering girls through soccer, art, and hip hop in Recife and Olinda.
Mavi Kalem
We created a Give Back Tee and donated 100% of proceeds to support families rebuilding after the 2023 earthquake.
Mariposa DR Foundation
We donated $12,000 to refurbish the garden at the Mariposa Center — a working space that helps feed the girls it serves.
Kusi Kawsay
We partnered with Kusi Kawsay to help build a library for indigenous children in the Sacred Valley of Peru.
Little Sisters Fund
1,000 uniforms donated to 1,000 girls in Nepal—so every girl could show up to class ready to learn.
SAKALA
Moved by Daniel Tillias’s story, we launched our Citizens FC program to send soccer jerseys to kids in Cité Soleil.
Tea was founded in the Bay Area—and our commitment to giving back has always included the community right outside our door. From schools and nonprofits across the US to volunteer days with our team and clothing donations here in San Francisco, this is what it looks like when a small brand shows up for its neighbors.
